  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers:
    • Assign routes and schedules to drivers based on customer demands and delivery requirements.
    • Monitor driver performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

  2. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies:
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

  3. Drive trucks and transport goods:
    • Operate a heavy truck to transport goods to assigned destinations.
    • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
    • Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods while minimizing risks and damages.
  4. Coordinate logistics and communicate with stakeholders:
    • Collaborate with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and other team members to coordinate logistics and optimize delivery schedules.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates on delivery status.
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation:
    • Keep detailed records of driver activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts.
    • Complete necessary paperwork, such as logbooks, inspection reports, and shipping documents.
