Responsibilities:

  1. Menu Planning and Creation: Develop and design menus that reflect the culinary vision of the establishment. Create innovative and enticing dishes, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients, dietary restrictions, and customer preferences.
  2. Food Preparation and Cooking: Execute food preparation tasks, including but not limited to, chopping, slicing, marinating, and cooking. Ensure that food is prepared and cooked to the highest quality standards, adhering to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
  3. Kitchen Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment. Monitor food quality, safety, and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with regulations.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among team members.
  5. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and tastings to maintain consistency in flavors, presentation, and portion sizes. Implement quality control measures to ensure that every dish meets the established standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a chef or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Culinary arts degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, culinary principles, and international cuisines.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills to supervise kitchen staff and coordinate kitchen operations.
